Magazine

Magazines are a type of publication that get released consistently over the course of a specific time. This can be monthly, weekly, or even daily. Magazines can be either released as print or online digitally. There are several different types of magazines that contain several different types of content. Some magazines can contain news articles, short stories, photographs, advertisements, or all of them. Usually, the magazine brand focuses on a certain topic. There are magazines that are centered around fashion, finances, or news. There are magazines centered around very specific hobbies as well, like fishing, woodworking, or even online gaming.[1] The audience for these magazines pay through subscriptions. These subscriptions are usually monthly but not always. Magazines can also make money through the advertisements that they include in the magazines or through the customer purchasing the magazine. Magazines usually make their money through a combination of advertisements, the purchasing price, and subscriptions that customers ignore up for. Magazines are placed in different categories based on how often the publish, what type of demographic they cater to, what kind of subject the magazine focuses on, and the tone or style of the magazine. When it comes to the topic of a magazine trying to target a specific audience, an example could be how a magazine about women’s fashion is obviously aimed at women. Or how a trade magazine centered around carpentry would be for carpenters or people who have carpentry as a hobby. The cover of the magazine is usually focused on the most important component of the magazine.[2]
